Shorne Kane

Recalling the life and time of Shorne Kane at Goldings who sadly passed away January 2007 but we have only recently heard the
sad news.
Shorne came into Goldings Winter 1962 from Shotley Bridge Branch of Dr Barnardo,s along with Mike Hultum from the same
branch and were placed in Somerset House at Goldings.
He was quite an accomplished sports man at the school. I will give news of his stay at Goldings from the school magazine
the “Goldonian”

SHORNE KANE (Westerhope). Suddenly on January 8th 2008, aged 59 years, Shorne (ex welder of Metal Spinners,
Thorns and Sanofi), much loved dad of Michelle and Lisa, a loving grandad (Di) of Lorna, Emma and Callum, also a
good friend of Linda.
Funeral Service to take place at the West Road Crematorium on Tuesday 15th January at 10.30am, all welcome afterwards
to The Fox and Hounds.
