Alfred “Cummings” Nerman

I entered Goldings in May 1960 and left in Sept 1964
My house when I entered was Pelham House, later I moved into Mac Andrew,
and finally I left from Somerset House.
I was taught the trade of Painter and Decorator.
While at Goldings I spent a lot of time in Hospital or Sickbay through ill health,
and spent most of my time wondering around the grounds of Goldings taking
Photographs.
I will be remembered at Goldings as Alfred Cummings, now changed to
Alfred Nerman.
I am single and live in Northampton.
I have a brother David who also attended Goldings just before me, who lives in Blackpool,
I make regular visits to see him, and I would like in time to relocate and live there.

MacAndrew House Notes.

We have three of our boys going to Lochearnhead Camp. They are P. Gregory, A. Cummings,
G. Fletcher who has nearly completed his Duke of Edinburgh Award course. He recently went on
an Outward Bound course to Cumberland and although finding it very tough to start with, told us
he enjoyed it very much. I would like to close our House notes by wishing all the members of staff
and boys a happy Summer holiday.
